On the National Bison Range in Montana we watched this old bull seemingly enjoying the first rays of a glorious new day. Truth be told he was probably totally indifferent. I’ve seen them this way when the temperature was over 100 degrees and when the wind is howling and freezing cold. They seem to take it all in stride.
The Bison Range is an incredible place. There is a plan out there however to remove it from the National Wildlife System and forever be lost as a National Wildlife Refuge..
